    This file contains data from a survey carried out to establish baseline indicators of women´s needs in the areas of economic autonomy, sexual and reproductive health and services to prevent and redress intimate partner violence in November of 2015 with the participation of 227 women between the ages of 15 and 70 years residing in a low- and middle-income neighborhood in a populated urban area of Trinidad and Tobago.     This dataset contains survey data for the publication "The Invisible Women: The Costs of Prison and the Indirect Effects on Women" (Related publication only available in Spanish). The study seeks to draw attention to the families of people who are detained in the local Mexican prison system. The results of this study are divided into two parts: the first part shows the socio-demographic characteristics of those who visit the Centers for Social Rehabilitation including information about their education, work, and economic status, among others. The second part provides quantitative information on the economic, social and health costs that are imposed by a criminal model that fails to recognize its existence, and by a prison system that frequently fails to comply with the obligation to pay the expenses of those that have been put in seclusion.

    The second round of the IDB/Cornell Coronavirus Survey is a follow-up to the first round of the IDB/Cornell Coronavirus Survey, which collected information related to the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on labor markets, food security, social distancing, and knowledge about the symptoms and forms of contagion of the Coronavirus. The main objective of the second round was to follow up with households participating in the first round, collecting more detailed information on household income and assets, as well as data on beneficiaries of social programs existing before the pandemic, financial inclusion, political preferences, and behaviors related to Covid-19 in general. The data collection procedure for the second round, as well as its dissemination, were carried out in the same way as for the first round.
