    Between 2023 and 2024, the IDB, in collaboration with the governments of seven countries, conducted surveys exclusively targeting users of public services. The objective was to measure the experience of different population groups with government services and assess the government’s readiness for digital service delivery. These surveys, nationally representative of the user population, represent an innovative effort by emphasizing the collection of information on key variables such as sex, age, ethnicity, disability status, urban/rural location, and educational level of individuals who use government services. The questionnaires gathered data on connectivity, ownership of digital assets, digital skills, transactions carried out and the experience with those transactions, awareness of digital public services, and experience with specific social transactions.     The firms and individuals listed have been sanctioned for having engaged in fraudulent, corrupt, collusive, coercive or obstructive practices (collectively, Prohibited Practices), in violation of the IDB Group’s Sanctions Procedures and anti-corruption policies. Sanctions are meant to prevent and deter Prohibited Practices in IDB Group-financed activities. Such sanctions are imposed as a result of: Determinations by the Sanctions Officer and Decisions of the Sanctions Committee of the IDB Group; Negotiated Resolution Agreements entered between the Bank Group and companies or individuals as a result of investigations undertaken by OII; or Cross debarment in accordance with the Agreement for Mutual Enforcement of Debarment Decisions dated 9 April 2010, which, as of 11 July 2012, has been made effective by the African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Inter-American Development Bank, and World Bank.     The OLAS Simplified GLAAS for LAC dataset provides information on water and sanitation governance in 30 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) from 2018 and 2021. The data is from the UN-Water Global Analysis and Assessment of Sanitation and Drinking-Water (GLAAS), which is a global survey carried out by UN Water and the World Health Organization (WHO) that collects country-level information on provision of water, sanitation, and hygiene services. The survey covers topics like governance, monitoring, finance, and human resources in the sector. This simplified version of the dataset contains information relevant to WASH governance in LAC.
