    Social Indicators of Latin America and the Caribbean is a diverse dataset of indicators designed to capture social conditions in Latin America and the Caribbean. The indicators are derived from national household survey data, Censuses, and other sources covering 21 countries from 1990 to date. While the Sociómetro includes traditional global indicators, the database also includes tailor-made indicators in five areas: Demographics, Education, Labor Market, Housing, and Income, to better capture conditions in LAC. Moreover, unlike traditional aggregate indicators, the Sociómetro indicators are disaggregated by ethnicity and race (when available) and by gender, geographic residence, education, and income quintile. The indicators are not intended to serve as official data for any particular country but instead aim to provide a comparable set of social indicators for the Latin American region.

    Ce jeu de données présente des informations normalisées sur le financement climatique pour les opérations de la BID approuvées en 2024. Il comprend les parts de financement climatique au niveau des projets, classées selon les objectifs d’atténuation, d’adaptation et à double objectif, avec des ventilations par type d’instrument et par secteur. La base de données favorise la transparence, la comparabilité entre les années et les divisions, et s’aligne sur les méthodologies de suivi du financement climatique des banques multilatérales de développement (BMD). Dans le cadre du Cadre d’Impact du Groupe BID 2024–2030, la BID s’est engagée à atteindre un objectif de financement climatique équivalant à 45 % du volume total approuvé.     The data collected in this study allows to characterize the diversity in companies in the cities of La Paz, El Alto, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz. This information was collected through a survey conducted during the third quarter of 2023. The objective of the surveys was to obtain a proxy for information that allows characterizing, on the one hand, in a general way the composition of the representation of the various groups in companies; the existence of hiring policies for these diverse groups and the obstacles that companies have faced during the hiring process. To obtain this information, the survey was conducted with the person in charge of human resources or the person in charge of hiring and human talent management.
