Percentage that results from dividing the total unemployed people and the econmically active population (labor force). Individuals considered as 'unemployed' (open unemployment) are those who did not work at least for one hour in the reference period, but are able to work and are actively seeking for employment. The economically active population is the sum of the total employed population and the total unemployed population.
