    Data and code associated with the IDB Publication "Grandmothers and the Gender Gap in the Mexican Labor Market". ENESS data is available for 2009, 2013, and 2017. As an accompanying module of the ENOE, it covers all the households covered by the ENOE for two out of the three months in the quarter. Hence, the ENESS covers roughly two-thirds of the ENOE sample for the quarter. The ENESS data includes responses from 209,266 households. These households use public and private daycare providers for 3,991 and 1,177 children under seven years old.

    The IDB/Cornell Coronavirus Survey collects information related to labor market impacts, food security, social distancing, and knowledge of the Covid-19 pandemic through an online survey. The main modules of the questionnaire were standardized across countries to allow data to be pooled and cross-country comparisons to be made. The survey was launched in the first country on March 27, 2020, and most responses were collected during April 2020. Participants were recruited through social media using paid advertising campaigns. The data consists entirely of responses to an online survey and therefore does not collect information on the most vulnerable people, who are likely to lack access to the internet or social media. However, the survey contains information for people from different social strata and subnational regions. It aids in sequencing and annotating genomes and their observed mutations; analyzing gene and protein expression; simulation and modeling of DNA, RNA, proteins and biomolecular interactions; and mining of biological literature, among many other critical areas of research.     This dataset constitutes a panel follow-up to the 2016/2017 Suriname Survey of Living Conditions. It measures welfare related variables before and after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic including labor market outcomes, financial literacy, and food security. The survey was executed in August 2020. The Suriname COVID-19 Survey is a project of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). It collected data on critical socioeconomic topics in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic to support policymaking and help mitigate the crisis impacts on the populations welfare. The survey recontacted households interviewed in 2016/2017 by the Suriname Survey of Living Conditions (SSLC) and was conducted by phone due to the mobility restrictions and social distancing measures in place.
