    Este banco de dados reúne estatísticas padronizadas e atualizadas sobre a produtividade agrícola e o uso de insumos em diversos países, abrangendo dados anuais sobre produção agrícola, índices de insumos e participação dos fatores. A maioria dos índices tem origem no conjunto de dados de Produtividade Agrícola Internacional (IAP) do USDA, fornecido pelo Serviço de Pesquisa Econômica (ERS), enquanto outros — como os índices de Produtividade Total dos Fatores (PTF) de Hicks-Moorsteen, Fare-Primont e Lowe — são calculados por nós com base nos mesmos dados do USDA. O banco de dados inclui múltiplos índices de PTF, bem como índices desagregados de insumos para trabalho, terra, capital, materiais, máquinas, pecuária, fertilizantes e rações, muitos dos quais estão indexados ao ano-base de 2015.     Medium Term Fiscal Frameworks (MTFs) have become one of the most popular reforms to the budgetary process in Latin America during the last decade, and introducing MTFs seemed to be the magic solution for most fiscal ailments. Nonetheless, there has been no comprehensive evaluation of their impact. This document discusses the normative merits of using MTFs, provides a characterization of the different types of MTF, and describes their development in the Latin American region based on extensive field work. As a first approximation for understanding how they are working, this document explores in detail the cases of Argentina, Colombia and Peru. While an unambiguous diagnosis is not possible, this document lays the groundwork for progress toward comprehensive impact evaluations and, eventually, to the consolidation of MTFs in the region.

    This dataset was generated by the Knowledge team in the Inter-American Development Bank's Water and Sanitation division from publicly available information to allow for the characterization and comparison of tariff systems and subsidies. It contains data on residential drinking water supply and sanitation tariffs, and includes data on subsidies, tariff types, metering, and more. The tariff dataset has been simplified and made available to the public via the Water and Sanitation Observatory for Latin America and the Caribbean (OLAS), consistent with the OLAS goals to provide consistent, reliable, and updated data to understand the water and sanitation sector at the national and regional levels, within the framework of SDG 6.
