Bank reserves are the deposits that commercial banks and other depository institutions hold at the central bank, together with vault cash in some definitions. They are used to meet reserve requirements and facilitate interbank payments, and they form part of the monetary base.
Available for 18 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean at annual, monthly, and quarterly frequency, covering 1990–2026.
