    The Citizen Survey on Government Transactions and Equity (2025) is a comparative measurement conducted in 11 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Its objective is to capture the experience of the adult population (18 years or older) with procedures involving public entities, including the channels used, the barriers encountered, and the assessment of the process. The sample is nationally representative for each country and takes into account key characteristics such as: - sex, - age - ethnicity - educational level - and urban or rural location. This survey enables the identification of common and divergent patterns in the access to and use of government services in the region.

    Between 2023 and 2024, the IDB, in collaboration with the governments of seven countries, conducted surveys exclusively targeting users of public services. The objective was to measure the experience of different population groups with government services and assess the government’s readiness for digital service delivery. These surveys, nationally representative of the user population, represent an innovative effort by emphasizing the collection of information on key variables such as sex, age, ethnicity, disability status, urban/rural location, and educational level of individuals who use government services. The questionnaires gathered data on connectivity, ownership of digital assets, digital skills, transactions carried out and the experience with those transactions, awareness of digital public services, and experience with specific social transactions.     Cybersecurity Dataset: Are We Ready in Latin America and the Caribbean? (2016) This dataset supports the 2016 Cybersecurity Report, Are We Ready in Latin America and the Caribbean?, produced by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Organization of American States (OAS), and Global Cyber Security Capacity Centre (GCSCC) at Oxford. Data were collected via an online survey using the Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model (CMM), developed by the GCSCC. The survey was translated into English and Spanish. Following a pilot phase, it was administered to a diverse group of national stakeholders across 32 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. The responses were aggregated, reviewed, cleaned, and supplemented with additional information from external sources to ensure completeness and accuracy.
